New Zealand Peruvians
The New Zealand Peruvian differs from the English Peruvian in the hair falls from one of the two centre Rosettes that is the stronger of the two. So that the coat can be brushed into a full circle with no parting. The NZ Peruvian has four Rosettes two on the centre back and two rump. This breed is a New Zealand Unique breed which started in the late 70's. Independent Cavy Clubs are the only shows where you can exhibit and see NZ's unique breeds.
